Happy New Year! =D

I put up a new layout, the site is now Oborozuki themed :3 There might still be some bugs/errors, feel free to point those out either by email or the guestbook ^^.

Also made a few small updates: mentioned new support guitarist John on the 'band' page, but unfortunately nothing is known about him, and added Oborozuki to the database. I promise you that the lyrics will come soon!

My deepest apologies for not updating for such a long time! I only had time for a small update now (though the update turned out to be bigger than I was expecting...)

Anyway, I've only updated the gallery, with pictures of the following: Oborozuki booklet, a new flyer, and scans of their pictures in the following magazines: Cure (2x), Fool's mate (2x), Hevn (2x), Shoxx (2x) and Zy.

The reason why they were featured in so many magazines, is probably the fact that they released a new DVD and single. The single, Oborozuki, came out on December 19th. It's only sold on Tower Records until March or so, and you can order it at this page. You can register on this page, which has English instructions. They ship everywhere in the world, and shipping is probably 1500 yen, but it depends on where you live.

I'm hoping to make another update soon, with info about Oborozuki, its lyrics, the new support guitarist John and maybe more :)

It's a few days early, but still: Happy 4th Birthday Kairo! Thanks to all the people that have visited and supported Kairo in these years :)

It's been a long long time since I've updated the site (happy belated 3rd birthday!) but there's quite some new stuff.

Though, first a little update on the band. Rai left as support guitarist and played his last gig on December 21st. There is no new official support guitarist yet, but it seems the guitarist of Tokyo Heroes is helping them out at the moment.

Some happier news: they'll release a DVD on July 4th! It will contain 21 songs from the Bangyaru Radio Theater one-man of November 19th and is also called that way. It's not sure what stores will stock it, but as soon as I'll find out, I'll post about it.

As for site updates: The whole discography got revamped! Maybe some of the lyric & gallery links aren't working properly, so please inform me if you find any broken links.
I updated the discography with info about the two newest singles: Gakubuchi and Bangyaru Shoukogun. I bought both of them (because Bangyuaru Shoukogun is so rare I paid about 10 times more than the original price -_-), so you can find the lyrics in kanji & romaji of all songs in the lyrics section. I also scanned the booklets which can be found in the gallery. There are also new scans from a Shoxx issue and a Hevn issue in the gallery.

Next to that, a lot of translated lyrics are added ^_^ The only ones missing is the brand new stuff, the rest is all translated now.

Gakubuchi is almost out! Did you pre-order it already? =D I did!!!

Anyways, I made a small update: I added the kanji & romaji lyrics of Bangyaru shoukogun, the kanji for Shiiku Hako and the romaji will come soon, as well as the lyrics to Gakubuchi.

I also added a few screenshots of their ITV24 performance, but unfortunately I only have screenshots of the first :( Maybe someone screencapped the second one?

I added quite some new pics, one of one of the newest Shoxx's and two more rare magazines: Circus J and Reset6 which I bought in Japan.

Jinkaku Radio is featured at ITV24 again, except that now it's not called ITV24 anymore but 'ohkey' or something like that.
You can find the file over here. You do need to sign up for it, but that's free. The first part is airing now, next wednesday the second part will be added.

It's a pretty cool video, 45 minutes long, with both Yuuki and Naoki who are acting really funny (and harrasing Noriko XD) and in the background you can hear the new songs!

A new layout! Bandgirl syndrome version! =D I totally don't like photoshop and I can hardly use it, but I managed to produce this thing from it :3

Anyways, I've made a few updates, there's an articles section now with a review & livereports (send in more!!). And the 'goodies' section will be up soon, with icons and wallpapers, you can send in some too!

Next to that I added a few pictures, scans of the Nejimakidori demotape which I traded for my soul and my kidneys in Japan :3

I recently (pre) ordered Gakubuchi and Konnyarome, maybe you should do so too? =D

I'm back from Japan, with a livereport and the unforgettable experience of meeting Yuuki ;) You can read my livereport and meeting Yuuki over here. ^^

There's quite some news about the band, so here we go:

2006-09-25: Yuuki will release a collection of all his colums from the Hevn magazine, called "Konnyarome". It will contain the colums he wrote in the last 4 years for the magazine (the magazine is around since then). It will cost 1500 yen and it will be for sale at shops like Tower Records (!!!)

2006-11-19: They will have an one-man at the Shibuya AX, called "Band girl radio theater" and I'm not 100 % sure, but I think they will distribute the single "Band Girl Shoukougun" (band girl syndrome, it's a parody about fangirls) there, which was only available for mobile phone download before.
If anyone is going there, please let me know and I'll pay you a shitload of money to get it for me :3

2006-11-29: They will release the single "Gakubuchi" (pictureframe). It will cost 1050 yen and will be produced on the label Danger Crue, which also released Akui before. It'll contain 2 tracks.

Updates on the site: I added a few new magazine scans (more are coming soon, for smaller magazines once my package arrives from Japan >.>), and in the 'others' gallery I put the pictures of the official site, their Band girl photoshoot.
Next to that, there are two new lyric translations: Akui & Buranko.

Long time no see!
I updated a little, I changed the member profiles and added two new lyric translations: Seimei & Wasuneragusa. Akui & Buranko will come soon.

The gallery is also updated, added a scan of the card that came with Akui, and scans from two magazines.
Also, I decided to change the downloads section, and I decided to only put up kind of rare songs (the ones that aren't on any of their releases) up there from now on.

Some news: Maya joined Babylon! I'm very happy for him, and also for Babylon cause they finally found a good guitarist ;)

And some other news, I'm going to Japan this summer, so I'm definitly going to see Jinkaku Radio live ^___^

Happy belated birthday to Yuuki-san & Rai-chan! ^_^ Hope you guys had a nice birthday.

So, I have quite some updates. I got my copy of Akui a few days ago, so I started typing out the lyrics. So you can find both kanji & romaji in the lyrics section (Thanks Rik for helping me!).
I also scanned the booklet, which you can find in the 'booklet' section of the gallery.

Next to that, quite a big heap of new scans; the magazine Apres Guerre 48 and gorgeous, huge scans of the magazine Shoxx bis 5. It has 12 pages about the band and it's really lovely. I almost never buy magazines but I did get this one; who can't resist 12 pages of Jin-Ra!

I also added some screenshots of the itv24 show. There were two video files on the website with an interview with Yuuki. In the first one they showed two live clips; Saisei no asa & Oningyousan, and in the second one Yuuki performed both Akui & Buranko acoustic in the studio. And in case you're wondering who the balding guy is (^___^) that's harassed by Yuuki, it's Taro, their manager.

Yup, a new layout again! Somehow I'm never satisfied with the layouts I come up with for Kairo, so I made another one again...

I added some great new scans of the magazine Hevn 018 in the magazines gallery. I also updated the discography with information about Akui, and in the downloads section you can find a sample of it! :O. Next to that, I added about six lyric translations.

Great news! Jinkaku Radio is going to release a new single called Akui. It'll be released on December 4th. It's not going to be released on their own label, but on Danger Crue. Danger Crue is a sub label of Sony... L'arc & Ciel is on it, for example. MUCC's label Shu, is a sub-label of Danger Crue as well. Jin-Ra is probably only going to use it to get their CD's distributed better... 

Anyways, I updated the site a bit with a magazine scan, scans of the Ubasuteyama booklet, a preview of their photo book Hanage, and that's it...

Holidays are almost over, and I hope everyone had a good one ^_^. 

Because I wasn't very satisfied with the last layout, I changed it again. I also added the kanji & romanji lyrics of the Ubasuteyama single. I updated the Gallery a bit too, with a gorgeous flyer (which is hanging on my wall, haha) and scans of Shoxx 151.

I'm still waiting to receive my copy of Ubasuteyama, and when I get it I'll post scans of the booklet :)

I'll be out of the country for about 2 months, so no updates in the meantime.. :(

Added some new scans to the gallery; Hevn 05, Zy 13, and Circus J 14. By the way; Jinkaku Radio will be featured on the cover of the next Hevn Magazine ^_^

The band has announced their summer activities, they'll tour a lot, and have three one-man concerts. For the whole list check their official site, or a translation over here.

I have some great news; Jinkaku Radio will release a new single on July 31st. The title is "Ubasuteyama" (this is a mountain and there's some kind of folkloristic story about it; when a woman is too old too work and is only a burden for a family, they send her to the mountain to die there...) and according to a friend of mine, the song is a slow one. 
It will contain 3 tracks, and the price is 1575 yen. Hopefully we can order it through Third Stage!

And I have a question; I'm still looking for a lot of scans. I made a list of which ones I'm looking for exactly, although I'm not quite sure in which Fool's mates and Shoxx'es they were. But if anyone has one of these magazines and is able to scan them for me, I would be grateful forever ^_^. Click here for the magazine list.

I added some pictures of Zy in the Scans gallery. Ambrosia scanned them for me, and that's not the only thing she did, she also let me borrow some of her web space for the downloads, so they're back again!

I updated the 'other bands' section quite a bit. I added new pictures of LUV'ra-doll, Kasu and De Stijllia and it's pretty cool to see Yuuki in his old costume =)

A small update: I added scans of the Kairo single in the booklet gallery (now I only need to hunt Yuuhodou down *_*). I also changed the pictures of Shoxx 124. There are only 2 scans now, but it has all the pictures, it's bigger, and no watermark =)

And, I'm afraid that the downloads section is down for the moment. For a looong moment actually. Does anyone wants to host them? =)

I was wondering if anyone has the first press  of Shouko? I'm considering to buy it, but I want to know how much different it is from the regular press. So please let me know!

First update for 2005 :) Well... I added a gorgeous new flyer to the flyer section (it's so pretty *_*), and a scan of the February Shoxx to the scans gallery.

I updated the member biographies a little bit, and the band biography too. They don't have any concerts scheduled for the next year, so I hope we'll get news about the new album soon!

There's a problem with the host of the mp3s/PV, but they'll be back in the next few days :)

And I have a bit of info about Maya; He's in the band Akuma Head (or ACMA head.. I'm not sure) now, apparently he has left Karasu Tengu!

The total 'other bands' section is revamped. Because most of the members their projects/former bands are pretty unknown, I decided to make the sections bigger. I also added the band Lemon-Glass there, which is the former project of Shin and Naoki. 

I changed a little bit in the member's sections, added stuff like; Maya is a supporting member of Karasu Tengu now, and Shin is the supporting drummer for Tetsu69 on Christmas. 

Lastly, for the people that don't know: Jinkaku Radio has announced they're working on a new album :D

New pictures in the gallery! I FINALLY found scans of Expect Rush III. I had the video file for quite some time now, but now someone scanned the magazine too. They're REALLY pretty, and done by Shashinken Gelatin once again. It's just a pity that they seem to have this color phobia :(. I put some screenshots of the photoshooting in the 'other' gallery, so you can take a look at them in color ^_^.

It seems I forgot to upload this, but: Someone sweet translated Kurai Haru, so it's up now, in the lyrics section. I romanized Kasu's Aishuu-iro no kaaten, you can find it on their page in the 'other bands'. section.

There's a new mp3 in the downloads section now, it's from Isolation, Lai's former band. Yuuki is on vocals, and it's quite interesting to listen to it, if you're used to Yuuki in Jinkaku Radio :D.

I finally made a decent biography for the band... I edited it a little, and I put a 'history' part in it, although you have to scroll down to read it. I also made decent biographies for the members, just click on 'members' and the name. 

I also added one picture to the 'others' gallery. It's a scan of a card of the concert at August 8. My friend sent it to me ^__^

Uhh. Well, I fixed some bugs in the website, and I hope it looks good now on a mac as well.

As you can see, I put up a brand new layout! I really didn't like the other one, and I liked this picture so much. And please just ignore the scrollbars. I tried to make them transparent, but for some reason that doesn't seem to work in xhtml -_-

Anyways, there aren't much updates next to the new layout, I just put up a new section, 'interviews', with one translated interview atm. Any volunteers to translate stuff for me? ^_^

A small update, I added one new scan to the scans gallery. I also changed the pictures of LUV'ra-doll in the 'more' section. And take a look, cause Mai looks AMAZING!

There's some Jinkaku Radio news, because, this november they're going to do a small two man tour with Deadman! (24, 26 and 28 november) And, even better, in December they have an one-man tour planned! Six concerts, on the 13, 15, 17, 28 and 30th of December!

So, Kairo is back again, hosted by Amy this time. The other host was expiring, so I needed to move it.

Anyways, I have news about Jinkaku Radio. Mai has left the band as a supporting drummer this February. A guy named Shin replaced him in June, and participated in the summer tour. They haves a new song, called 姥捨山, "Uba Sute Yama". The title refers a little to a Japanese classical folk tale. It's not known if this song is going to be released on a single/album soon, but I hope so :)

Updates on the site. I haven't changed very much, only the members section a little, and I added a new section, 'more'. It contains info about bands that have something to do with Jinkaku Radio. The member's projects, and their former bands.

I changed a lot of flyer scans, I replaced a lot of the small ones by bigger ones, and I added two new ones. I also added one new picture in the 'others' gallery, it's something my friend got with her copy of Yuuhodou, a really artsy thingie of one of the standard pictures of Naoki. Very pretty. 

I also revamped the downloads section, I apologize for the stuff that happened to the Yuuhodou PV, but it's totally back now, and I also added some extra mp3's. 5 of Jinkaku Radio, 1 of Kasu, and 1 of De Stijllia.

And something else of great importance: Perhaps you've noticed Kairo being offline for a few days, I have no idea what happened, but there were some errors with the host. It's back now, but the domain is going to expire half September, so, Kairo needs a new host!  So, if you know a nice place for it, email me!

A last update before I go on holiday for 10 days. I updated the gallery with quite some pictures, scans from Fool's mate 256, 267 and 271. The scans from FM 267 might look a bit familiair to you, cause they're the pictures you see everywhere, the official pictures, but these are much bigger then I've even seen them. I changed the bio a little, and I added their supporting guitarist to the member section.
Most of the discography have Japanese titles too now, and I corrected the title of the 'Local Listener, Jinkaku tour description' title. It was NOT Shuyuki. No idea why I thought it was. 
Another thing I added, is a completely new section with their tourdates. For the next three months they have 10 concerts planned, perhaps there are more coming.
